Member Terms
It is the business owner’s responsibility to provide content such as Logo, photos, Video etc. along with a brief description about your business, products and/ or services you provide, contact information, and social media pages you would like tagged to The Minority Link via email at TheMinorityLink@gmail.com or you may DM your information to our Facebook Business page The Minority Link. Only the premium and basic membership plans will have access to post content in The Minority Link Group Page. All post will be reviewed by us prior to approval, and we retain the right to decline a post that doesn’t have sufficient information or goes against company or social media policy. Keep in mind post that are made on the group page are only visible on the group page. If you want your content to be shared on all of our platforms it must be sent to The Minority Link. Only business owners who are current on their membership payments will have access to the group page. Only premium and basic memberships can make multiple content submissions to be used during a paid membership month. Must allow 24-48 hours before it is posted on all platforms and it will only be shared based on the membership purchased. A LA Carte Memberships can only submit one form of content to be shared and it will only be promoted for one week.
Cancelation Policy
Once a Membership plan is purchased it is non- refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time by emailing TheMinorityLink@Gmail.com. Once canceled your Ad will continue to run until the end of the month last purchased unless you otherwise request that we terminate any further posting of your business. All Memberships purchased regardless of what day of the month will start on the 1st day of the next month and you must allow us up to 5 days to make the first post for your business if you purchased your membership less than 48 hours before the deadline. All membership fees must be paid and initial content and required information must be received by 11:59pm EST the last day of the month prior to when your membership begins.
Terms of Use
To be a represented member by The Minority Link you must be a Minority Business Owner as defined by Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). Your business must be 51% owned, operated, capitalized, and controlled by a member of a presumed group identified below who is the top executive officer responsible for managing daily operations. Presumed Group Includes: Black American: any Black racial group originating in Africa; Hispanic: origins in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Central and South American, or Spanish or Portuguese cultures; Native American: a Native of Alaska or Hawaii, or certified member of a federal or state recognized Indian tribe; Asian Pacific: origins in the Pacific Islands, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, or Philippines; Subcontinent Asia: origins in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives Islands, Nepal, or Sri Lanka; a Woman; or Veteran. By purchasing a membership plan, you are stating that your business qualifies due to 51% ownership falling into one of the above Presumed Groups. You must be able to provide proof if requested by The Minority Link. Should The Minority Link find out that your business does not qualify then we reserve the right to terminate your membership immediately and there will be no refund returned to you.
All Business’s must conduct ethical practices and provide at a minimum Good customer service with customers within reason. The Minority Link will reach out to the business owner if they receive negative feedback and will allow for an opportunity to correct an incident they may have occurred if it is found to be necessary. A failure to do so could result in termination of your membership. If a business fails to produce services or goods to a customer after a transaction is made and doesn’t replace or refund the customer, membership will be terminated, and your business may be reported to the better business bureau.
